So long social life

So, as of Monday its time to start studying for Step 1 of our Medical Licensing Exams (which I take June 18th). Its an 8hr exam that covers everything we’ve learned in the 1st 2 years of med school and essentially determines our residency futures. Soooo, a pretty big deal haha. In lieu of this, I am deactivating facebook and gchat on Monday until June 18th to minimize distractions/procrastination. So…you can still use email and/or phone/text to contact me, but that’s it! Also, my social life will be killed (more than it already is haha) during those weeks….just me, my classmates, and the library. woohoo.

skiing.

I’m going skiing tonight. For those of you who were with me the 1st (and only) time I went before, you know what I’m in for…. my goal is to make it down in less than 2 hr this time! Wish me luck. (i will def need it hahaha)

Hiiiii!

So, since I havent updated this in months and because I am one day away from being 3/8th of an MD I decided it was time! School sucks and all- BUT next year will be better and I just got my order of rotations:

Peds - Ob/Gyn- Elective- Primary Care- Family Med- WINTER BREAK (yay!)- Psych- Elective- Surgery- Medicine

Its pretty much the order I wanted them in- besides having peds first since they say you shouldnt do what you think you want to go into first (since you dont have not much experience yet). But- yayyyy! Finally, something to look forward to!! (Plus the whole Christmas, NYE, SU game thing coming up!) I will see MANY of you soon!!!!

I REALLY want to go to this game (and still might..it is only 1.5 hr from me). If we miraculously won- it would be HUGE- and i would wear syr stuff to school all next week :) (I have so many obnoxious orange shirts that I never wear anymore- it’d be nice to break out all the syracuse stuff again haha). so yes SU football, please win. Or for me, at least dont get blown out so I dont get called out in school next week..
